How 327L and Esfile Explorer
« on: February 24, 2016, 07:44:38 PM »

Hi,

I am a new user of this Nas,  327L.

I want to know how I can use it with the Mobile app ES FILE EXPLORER. I prefer this aplication.

When I add a new source I have some posibiliten, but I don't know how is better, and how configure, in the case I am outside of my local network.

I have the NAS, NO-IP service configured.

Sorry for my English, i know is not very good.

THANKS

The first thing to do is get ES FileExplorer working with your NAS on your local network.

1)  Set up a user on your NAs with username and a strong password.
2)  Set that user to share what you want to access in 'Network Shares' and make sure that CIFS and FTP is activated for that share.
3)  Check the FTP settings.

4)  In ES FileExplorer go to the 'Network' tab and select 'LAN' to connect to the SMB/CIFS share or 'FTP' to connect to the FTP Server on the NAS.  Both of these should be active while you are on your local network.

Once you can connect while you are on your local network you will have to setup your router and firewall to allow connections from outside the network.  In ES FileExplorer that usually means using 'Network'  'FTP' (at least that is what we use on our tablets when at a client and need information from the office).
