For models DNS-320 add-ons and never will be. For DNS-320B can be adapted add-ons from the DNS-320L model in this thread was a description. For DNS-320L available since firmware 1.04.

Hello everyone,
DNS320 NAS and have a need to know if he can mount a server plex , XBMC / Kodi or Boxee , ...
Thank you!!

As per vtverdohleb  make sure you are talking about the right version of NAS - I made similar mistake

If you have a 320L
I have tried several addons for media  (Plex and Twonky addons included) and because the 320L doesn't transcode you'll find them restrictive depending on codec / container
What I did was to install the same version of Kodi (formerly XBMC) on other devices (PC (main for downloading, editing etc), tablets and Android TV Box) - the database and thumbs are stored on the NAS (by using phpMyadmin addon) and Kodi looks at the NAS for media files and database

Kodi will transcode anything I've thrown at it and I use the Android TV Box to stream to my Sony Home Cinema

If you need assistance with this - maybe best to pm me as I'm not always online here.
