Hello,

I have a NAS DNS-320LW, and installed the last firmware I could find : 1.06.B03
Then I tried to configure Google Drive, and I have the same problem and same error : deleted_client / The OAuth client was deleted.

I tried to install and configure Grive 2 add-on (http://dlink.vtverdohleb.org.ua/Add-On/).
It succeeded getting a key with Google. But I would prefer user the D-Link "official" Google Drive add-on.

It seems there is a problem with it. Can someone help us ?
Thanks

I can't help fix it but I can try to offer my knowledge

AFAIK (and experienced) Google Drive, as advertised on DLink NAS Drives, has never worked.  I purchased my 320L back end of 2014.  I've seen countless posts about this topic and I can't remember ever seeing a positive response.  I believe it has something to do with Google themselves changing something.

Of course I could be totally wrong with the above - I haven't checked Google Drive with my 320L in a long time - I gave up after wasting so much time

If you've got the right IMHO I'd return it as unfit for purpose

As I said in my other response AFAIK it's never worked but the product is still sold with this as a service.  DLink want to blame a change from Google

Yes if you want just a basic storage device to save backups or media files it does that OK  but if you want something a bit more functional you've got the wrong device.  You need a straight jacket and medication to control your anger at what you've purchased to get it functional or a few years of computer geekness to be able to get around the problems.

Most likely this comment will be removed sharpishly because we are not allowed to criticise

Google Drive add-on is a Google sourced add-on and most likely belongs to Google, not D-Link. There maybe support issues with Google Drive themselves and users should contact both Google and D-link directly to find out issues they are seeing with the add-on if they are encountering problems. This is most likely a service issue and could be that Google has made changes to there services and or possible may not support this add-on anymore. User should make contact with Google to find out support and help information.

This forum is here to try to help users with support and information regarding users posts and to help with setup problems and troubleshooting. Not to criticize or vent.  In some cases the forum can't help as problems are beyond forum help and information. We advise users to make phone contact with D-Link support, asking for elevated support as well, to get more direct help and information on the problem. D-Link has good products, however some products have support by 3rd party vendors and at the time D-Link chose to include with there products. It maybe the 3rd parties responsibility to continue the support and if something they change causes problems, they should be contacted as well to find out help and information regarding it.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

I am sure a proper update (which is already overdue) would solve this.

D-link support in Greece? Naaahhhhh....

I think D-link firmware HQs should look into this asap. Google drive is very popular and this is a pretty useful service. Its unacceptable to offer it without it functioning.

Seems that Google changed there security requirements for there services and have not provided D-Link with new code to fix this. User should contact Google and D-link and see if this is in progress.

My point is that the product sold by DLink is still sold with the sales information that Google Drive is available

In this country that's against consumer law

And until DLink publicly/globally changes the sales information or fixes the issue (with or without Google as it's DLink that is offering the service) then I will continue to publish what is legally allowed and if that means I'm critical then who's fault is that'

FurryNutz - we've had this discussion before and I am here to offer help and advice and I stick by what I stated - it's up to DLink to either amend how they sell the product or fix it so it meets with the sales information - it's that simple.

D-Link is not offering the service. Google is. Google only gives licenses to 3rd party Mfrs i.e. D-Link to feature Googles services on D-Link products. If Google changes any of there services, it''s there responsibility to inform D-Link of changes and provide the necessary information to effect fixes on D-Link products. I presume that D-Link is aware of the issue and may have already asked for Googles changes so they can effect fixes. It's up to Google to send the changes over. So it's not that simple. Yes D-link plays a part in this, however ultimate is Google and handing of any of there changes.

Your posts will be monitored as needed.

Users again, will need to contact Google and or D-Link support in regards to this feature and let them know about users desires of having this fixed and resolved. This is beyond forum help for now until the issue is fixed. Until then, users need to be patient and I'm sure it will get resolved. I'll keep asking D-Link USA about any updates and progress about it and post if I can. Please be patient.

Good Luck.
