Hi Philip,
When something stops working the first question we always ask is 'what has changed both local and in the network.
Your 'Unable to connect to server errors' sound very much like a win 10 problem that has been mentioned in the IT press several times and could well be something caused by the win 10 'updates'. You could try removing the win 10 box from the network and see what happens. If that fixes the problem I'm not sure what to advise because we don't use windows.
Jeez I only get called Philip if I've done something wrong
Thanks for reply - When testing each device (W7/W10/Android) with Kodi running all other devices Kodi was shutdown so only one version of Kodi would be running. As for "what has changed" I can almost guarantee that 1 movie was added to Unwatched folder and several TV Shows was added to TV Shows folder. Updates from Microsoft were downloaded/installed on Tuesday and Kodi has been OK up until last night. Movies/TV Shows almost added daily.
I'm almost 100% certain it's something to do with the other issue "recent movies" as I removed some temp downloaded videos in TV Shows (after watching them) and it now updates/scans OK
I've already questioned "recent movies" on Kodi forum
Basically, as already hinted at, if I have more that 649 movies in all my folders then recent movies does not function and now if I have too many videos in my TV Shows another issue appears .
I'm now thinking, as the responses on Kodi forum where non helpful, that it maybe an issue with the database phpMyAdmin/MySQL or Kodi but I'm no computer tech - I've had a quick look at my databases but wouldn't know where to check.
Thanks again for your reply.
