Hello
I have an 5222l revision hw B1 which is recording onto a network hard drive using SAMBA protocol.
Everything is going fine, but I have a small issue.
Basically, I dedicated an entire 500gb hard drive to do this task. Formatted capacity is 465gb (windows says this, and I know this is normal).
I configured the camera to do continuos recording h24, limit file 50mb.
I expected the camera uses the entire space available (the hard disk is used by the camera only) but 5222l starts deleting old records when hard drive remaining space is more or less 45gb. Basically, It uses 420gb only, and left 45gb unused. I tried to increase the maximum limite of overall records, but this is not the problem, since I input a data even bigger than total hard disk space (let's say 600.000mb) and nothing changes.
I have another 5222l camera which is not recording at all: tried to switch cameras and make it doing the same kind of recording but the problem remains, letting me think both camera have no harware problem.
That space is "real" because I can used it under windows (just tryed to experiment purpose).
How is this possible?
Any advice on what I could try?
