Post here for this firmware build. Apparently pretty much same release notes as previous build but a little more tuned.

Firmware: 1.32b03NA BETA
Date: 07/16/09

1. Fixed: When disabling DHCP server and enable DHCP server, LAN PC can not get IP.

Note: This firmware does not allow downgrading to pre-1.3x. Please save your configuration file before the upgrade. After the upgrade, please reset to factory default, then upload the configuration file image.

=========================================

Firmware: 1.31
Date: 04/28/09

1. New SharePort support PC/Mac (Requires New Utility Installed on PC or Mac to work)
2. Add SecureSpot 2.0
3. CAPTCHA (Cryptographic Authentication)
4. Fix DHCP server issue.
5. Modify the turn from "Network USB" to "SharePort" in the option of "My USB Type is:"
6. Add Advanced DNS Service feature.
7. Remove 3G feature (not a supported feature by North America ISP).
8. Fix LLTD wrong icon in Vista.
9. Fix reboot issue when connecting to Internet
10. Fix if set more than 8 Trigger or Firewall port in Application Rules, it will show warning message.
11. Fix bug: When QRS set wan type of rt to DHCP, the rt will not set Primary and second DNS.
12. This firmware can not be downgraded to previous versions.
13. Guest Zone disable SharePort support (USB spec v1.05)
14. Router time is not reset when factory reset.
15. Fix schedule end time error.

I know it's been said loads of times about not being able to reproduce errors in Dlink labs but there are a few problems yet to be addressed.
1. DNS Relay disabling to improve proformance or stop freezing of router.
2. SecureSpot stopping other features from working until disabled.
3. Port fowarding saving settings issue, may have to do with Securespot.

Can it be? Has D-Link finally fixed things?

I had SecureSpot disabled before doing any port forwarding/virtual server settings, and once I did do them, they saved after reboot! Amazing I thought. So I even went ahead and killed the power for about 5 minutes, and the settings are still there!

I also have DNS Relay enabled along with using D-Link's NTP server. We'll see how it holds up for the next few days. As it stands though, it's been 1h30min of solid up-time.

Up to now (8h) no problem.
DNS-Relay enabled, Securespot disabled ...
Set it up manually and it's working fine.

(But it also did before, so no change for me)

Does Dlink use the Taiwanese version of release management? This looks like a Sudoku  ???

Can anyone from give a version overview with the interim builds included? Is this firmware beta 03 any different from he last interim build "dir655_firmware_132b02NA_beta03_final"?

Mines been up 17h now. Time and date are still correct as well (that seemed to get messed up before too) though I didn't attempt to use NTP before either.

Looks like DNS Relay is still iffy. My network connection was fine though, could access anything directly by IP but nothing would load that needed DNS. So I've turned off DNS Relay once again. Not a huge deal IMO but still something that should work.

See my log from syslog-ng http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L0WK8S3I

I still wonder why the same router in different locations shows such extreme different behavior.

My router is running since the update and still working without any problem.
Never had problems with DNS Relay enabled, but I have to admit that I do not run any P2P program, so I will never reach the connection limit.

The only difference I noticed, the new firmware uses different channel pairs.

With the build02 it was always running on 1/5 or 9/5 in 40 MHz Mode.
Build03 uses 8/4 or 3/7 now. I disabled wireless and enabled it again for some times.
(There is no other wireless around)

This morning, I got a "Freezing" Router again.
Checked on this page here, and saw that the new firmware 1.32build03 is out.

So I upgraded from "1.32b02NA BETA 03 (Final)" to "1.32build03".
After the upgrade, all settings where still in the router. No new configuration or restore of old settings was necessary.
Is there really any different between "1.32b02NA BETA 03" and "1.32build03"?? Because this behavour I only got before, when I reloaded the same firmware version as already installed on my DIR-655.

BTW: The freezing router every 5th day, makes me crazy! I'm thinking about to buy a DIR-825 instead.
Will see whether I will get the freezing router problem with Firmware 1.32build03 as well.
