Link>Welcome! What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded if you recall? What region are you located? If you are getting the recovery mode screen, See if you can download the current FW file from your regional D-Link support site or use this one from here:http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=65585.0Once you get it downloaded, use IE or FF to send the .bin file to the router while it's in the recovery mode. Follow this process:Emergency Recovery Mode
What browser did you use to send the file. Use IE or FF, not chrome. Also clear any browser caches before and after sending the FW file. Follow the linked process...
Did you clear the browser cache...try IE11 as well.I presume if you have tried this, the unit maybe bad now. Usually if the file is sent in this mode, it should recover. If it does not, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. Ask for an RMA. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.Let us know how it goes please.
Ok, let us know how it goes. Your contact for your region is here:http://www.dlink.co.th/category/support-main/contact-technical-support/Select the HotLine Support tab. There is a RMA section towards the bottom of this page.
So after it applies the FW, did you turn OFF the router for 10 seconds then back on? Clearing the browser cache and make sure your PC ip address is set for auto obtain IP addressing and not Static?
Let us know how RMA goes.
