I can't get it!

Ok this is strange. I was in the setup of the router today and realized that I could turn off that pesky Graphical Identification Code request whenever you sign on to the router. Most of the time you cant really see the letters/numbers so I have to do it 3-4 times. So I removed that. Great! Now when I try to sing in with just my password it asks me for that code? There is no were to enter the code and there is no were to see a code. What gives? Do I really have to reset my router? Is this some kind o***litch?

Got it. I forgot to reboot the router after the change.

Are you using V1.10 or 1.11?  There were earlier posts about issues with turning the graphical security off with v1.10.  If I remember correctly it prevented all adminstrator access and the router had to be reset.  If you're using 1.11 it sounds like that issue might have been fixed.

Using 1.11. I have gone in and done a few adjustments and havent had any problems so far with adjustments. I did loose my connection once already this evening. I took it back to Bestbuys and it seems they are not going to carry Dlink anymore. Largest electronic store around and they wont carry dlink, no new firmwares. Is something going on with Dlink? Wonder if they lost the fight and are going down.
