I have had 930 and 932L cameras setup and working fine. Due to an increase of activity reported in my area I added three P932LB camera and retired a 932 that only had a BW fuzzy picture. I got all of them up just fine and accessible remotely on computer and phone. But as I was adding two 5220 and one 5222 Pan & Tilt cameras, I had some of the 932LB and 930 cameras go off line (red X) on both mydlink phone and through the dlink website. I got all of them back up after powering down and powering back up to reboot except one which showed not connected but sent an email when motion was detected and then showed back up.

I have one the the 932LB that I can connect and view through the phone app (even rename) but can not connect through the dlink website to either video or settings. It just times out. I don't have anything else using band width. Why is this happening?

This maybe a MDL service issue. I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Ok Googled MDL but did not find definition. What is MDL?

I just found this on D-Links FB page:

I am having same issue with my 930 and 932s. They work on dviewcam software but not on app or  Mydlink.com. I have a couple other models that are working fine.  Hopefully they fix it soon.

Can also be a router issue. Try reserving IP addresses for each cam.

I recommend setting a static IP address ON the cameras outside of the main host routers default DHCP IP address pool as a troubleshooting step: 192.168.#.93 and .94  DHCP

Test cameras with uPnP and uPnP Port Forwarding both enabled on ALL cameras: DCS Cloud (L) Series Camera Configuration and Mydlink.com

Dlink Support tells me that each camera streams Video continuously to their server even if I'm not using the Mydlink app or webpage to connect eating up bandwidth on local network all the time. They say I have added too many cameras and my network bandwidth is exhausted.  I thought the cameras only sent video when the app or webpage was connected to the camera?  Anyway, my cameras go down and are no longer a way to me to keep an eye on my home when I am away.

The Dlink server was up since I could see the few remaining cameras that were still up.

Fuzzy,  It Dlink support is correct, then how would that solve my issue. I read the thread you posted on port forwarding. Is there more of a how to thread in addition to the definition of thread you posted?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

• What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
• What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
• Is ISP Modem/Service using Dynamic or Static WAN IP addressing?
• What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have? Link> Speed Testing Sites

If you have exhausted your band width, then you might try installing a 2ndary WiFI AP and connect some of the cameras to it and some of the cameras to the main host router.

I don't understand your last reply.

My camera keeps connected however I only have 1 camera, not 6. There are wifi bandwidth limitations to consider.

I am at a remote location. I brought one 932L Ver A with latest firmware with me here. I tried to setup a static IP address but that failed (lost connection and could not reestablish) so I hard reset the camera. While I was setting it up here locally, I lost another camera at the remote location. Which was what I was seeing when I setup the new cameras. Could the problem be with the MYdlink server?

As for all of the other information you posted, I have an ATT unverse modem/router but I don't know any of the specifics and can't get it while I'm away. But I have a top tier service.

Well first of , is it correct that every camera streams continuously the video feed to Dlink server even if I'm not connected to it through mydlink or the Dlink webpage?  Why would they do this? I believe only when the camera is associated with the MDL service is when there services gets data which would be correct for this configuration. If it's not associated, then I don't believe data is being streamed to there services. I would ask 2nd or higher level support about this.

There was a maintenance period done on the 30th of Nov and 1st of Dec and is now over. My 933L is still connected and I haven't had to touch it.

Can you connect to the cameras web page when you LAN wire connect it to the router there? When your LAN wired connected, you should be able to connect to the cameras web page. Then you can configure static IP address on the camera. Once thats configured, you would reboot the camera. then close the browser and then re-open the browser and use the new IP address you set for static ON the camera to connect to the cameras web page. Mine set for 192.168.0.93 for my 933L. I can access it all the time on the LAN side. It's currently connected to a DIR-890L running in AP mode thats connected to a old DGL-4500 router (DHCP pool 192.168.0.100 to .200) and that's connected to my Motorola SB 6180 cable modem. The camera is always connected to the MDL services.

Ok I set the static IP. Lost remote access. I tried it with the gateway set to the router lan IP and and blank. Doesn't help. Do I need the DNS set too?  I can login through browser and see it as a local cam on the my dlink ap.
