I have been playing with this unit for a month or so.  I want to like it but. It seems buggy (software sucks, drops links to internet). But the real killer appears to be the batter.   Using the provided charger I get a full charge indicator but when I log on it reads 80 % and with in 3 hours as yes as an ap it's under 30%
At this rate it would appear it has to remain plugged in for real use

Any other experiences?

I presume that if your near a 110v outlet, the 510L should be plugged in. The battery life may depend on what the 510L is doing and what kind of traffic is going thru it. Heavy traffic would draw more battery life, light traffic shouldn't as much.

Just kind of disappointing.  Been also testing some other portable ap that last three days    With similiar loads

Not much of a portable ap is it has to stay plugged in

When was the unit manufactured?

The internal battery may need replacing. They don't last forever.

There an actual Date of mfr listed on the sticker by chance? Just because you bought it last month doesn't mean it's brand new off the assembly line. These units have first came out about 3 year ago.

No there is not.   Oh well. Such is life.  I was just curious what other people were experiencing.

Might look in the user manual or data sheet for general expected battery life usage. Again, maybe dependent upon what you do and how it's used.

Just simple acts point functions.  Mail and web.  Dead in 6 hours.  Other portable ap which I bought for 1/3 the cost. Still at90% power

They sounds petty good. Was That on 5ghz? 5 ghz should require more power.

I found battery's online that look the same as what's inside.
But your's is still functioning normal.  It wouldn't be worth it to get perhaps 30 more minutes? Especially at $50 a battery.

I did find one official  review online and they said "short battery life", but qualified that opinion no further.

For 35 I can buy a unit that laser two 16 plus hours.  The only advantage the drink has is the 2 USB ports

trouble of using a tablet... laser =  lasts      drink = dlink
