No Longer Able To Send Alert Pics To My Gmail Account

I'm no longer able to send my alert pics to my Gmail account.  This is just like the problems described in

 DViewCam Email Stops on Windows 10  http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=65173.0

Try using NetZero as a Gmail workaround.  NetZero must not have yet implemented the same security feature that Gmail is using.  I created a NetZero account.  Now I'm able to sign into NetZero to email my alert pics to my Gmail account.

I'm using:

 SMTP Server smtp.netzero.com
 Port 465
 E-Mail Sender (my Gmail address)
 Check SMTP server needs authentification
 Check SSL
 User Account (my NetZero e-mail address)
 Password (my NetZero e-mail password).

Please let me know when D-ViewCam corrects their Gmail interface.

Thank you for letting us know. I presume that there is an issue between Gmail and D-Link DVC. If NetZero is working then I might presume that Gmail maybe more strict or not letting alerts thru there system maybe. Glad NetZero is working for you. Hope it helps future users.

Where did you get v4.1.1 at? v4.0.5 is still most official current release.

I downloaded both 4.0.4 and 4.1.1 from their website.

I didn't try 4.0.4 yet, only 4.1.1 so far.  One of their Release Notes for 4.1.1 says it fixed a problem sending e-mail to Yahoo (does anyone use Yahoo anymore  Kinda like does anyone use NetZero anymore  ;) )

v4.1.1 has not been posted to the USA FTP yet so they may still be in process of doing there own testing on it before they post anything.
