Adding Cameras to DNR-322L over Network

(sorry, I posted this elsewhere but just realized this is probably the correct place for it)

Hello I have many DCS-5020L cameras set up around a restaurant and want them all to connect to my DNR-322L recorder. However the recorder only detects one camera. I understand that this is because the cameras are all connected to various switches around the restaurant and the recorder is connected to the same switch as the camera ot detects. How can I get the recorder to detect the other cameras on the network?

What exact brand/model of switches? 

Can you draw up your network map?

  • What Hardware version is your DCS? Look at the sticker behind or under the camera.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DCSs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
How many cameras are you using all together?
