Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

What browser are you using? Try FF browser?

Does the modem have a check for updates button feature instead of manually updating with a file?

You may not have the right file.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

Was the file downloaded as a .zip file and if so, did you unpack the file from the .zip file?

Are you experiencing problems with the modem?

Before you upgrade FW, I recommend that you have your ISP check the cabling going to the ISP modem, check signal levels going to the ISP modem. For DSL or Fiber service lines, ensure that the ISP is using good working phone or cable lines to the DSL modem and that the phone lines are filtered correctly. I recommend having the ISP service physically check the lines going from the out side to the ISP modem. Connecting to the ISP modem could result in a false positive as the signal to the modem could be just enough to that point then adding on a router, could see problems. The router operation is dependent upon getting good data flow from the ISP modem and the modem is dependent upon getting good signal from the ISP Service.

when i connect my internet connection with the modem which they provided me when they installed the connection it works fine without any problems...the problem occurs when i connect it with my DSL-2750U modem...so i don't think that the problem is from the ISP's end....it is the dlink modem which is not working as it should...so if u can tell me how to upgrade the modem's firmware in my case that would be very helpful....thank you

You'll need to contact your regional D-Link support office about the file and it not loading. There is something else going on with the modem and this file that I can't help with.

Good Luck.
