I asked for this  long time ago, and if I remember correctly, I believe the response was that it couldn't/wouldn't be done.

I have to agree, the "Blinking" really is annoying, but I just turned it around to face the wall, Wife says it looks like landing strip at night walking into the room!..But Wow, with all the other problems with this router?? Seems like the lights really are trivial..You had to know it had lights when u bought it?!  :) Hell I gave up trying to figure out how it screwed up my Directv Media Share!!

Hi,

The obvious answer to the part of the OP about it being white, is a vain attempt by our beloved Dlink to mimic Apple's products.

So true. Plus, we all know that consumers will buy anything so long as it has a blue LED somewhere on it...
