Hello everyone of the forum.
I'm writing to ask for help from you. I live in Brazil and at the end of 2016 I bought the router DIR-895L, installed it as recommended manual, updated firmware for version 1.12 automatic process during installation setup.
It worked fine for a week, then began to show instability, as for example the wi-fi networks did not appear to connect, however the router showed that they were active, either in the 5 GHz band or in the 2.4 GHz band I got in touch with the support, and they asked me to upgrade to firmware 1.13, which I did promptly when they sent me the link. The problem persisted, no wi-fi network. New contact I counted with the support, until they asked me to send the device to them, because with the is under the guarantee they would analyze it.
After it arrived in the support, it took 1 month to have the answer, they started a new one, which arrived this week.
Again I did the installation and configuration as the manual, and it worked for 2 days, when I put my iphone in airplane mode and took it, I can not connect to the wi-fi network, even by typing the correct password. Then I turn off the DIR-895L, I wait for 5 minutes I call again, it has the white power lus and the internet light turns orange, blinking and does not leave until the opwer light restarts ... I think it may be a problem Of my internet service provider, I reboot the modem, everything is normal, I turn on the router and the problem persists, then I reset it, I leave the reset button for 20 seconds, when I release the power light it is flashing orange and nothing else happens , I try to connect to the router by plugging the cable into it and accessing the address 192.168.0.1 and I can not access this address.
Well anyone would have any suggestion of what I can do to make this router again functional, here in Brazil I will only get in touch with the support on Tuesday due to a holiday and I would like to try to solve it first, because if I have to send it again For the support will be another 2 months without the router.
Best regards,
Jackson Lima
