Apologies for the late reply! Thank you for the guide, I ordered a 50ft cat 6 cord to run the AP, hopefully, it will be here by the weekend.

"If your modem is being used as the main host router, you can still use the 1st DIR router as a router if you want to. Use the DMZ on the ISP modem/router and input the IP address the DIR router gets from the modem in to this DMZ"

That is interesting, I think I may go for this mode.
