Hi all,

I recently installed a DSR-250 and wanted to upgrade to the latest firmware.  It appears the most recent is 3.11, but it does not appear to support the A4 hardware version that I have.  Is there somewhere else that I should be looking for the A4 version?

I do not see a specific firmware for A4. I will contact support to see if the 3.11 firmware is OK for A4 or if there is a specific firmware.

What firmware version is currently on the unit? Have you tried installing 3.11 on it?

Currently 2.11_WW.  I have tried installing 3.11, but it fails and reboots the router.  The error message (I don't have it in front of me at the moment, but can get it if needed) says that the hardware version isn't supported.

OK. I sent a message to the switch guys and hope to get a response in the next day or two. I will let you know what I hear back.

Thanks!  And will do - hopefully will have a chance to do that tomorrow.

I'm hoping the next FW release will let me set up VPN from an Android/iOS device to the DSR-250.  So far, no luck, even though I've followed the configuration others have posted here.

I did get a response. They are going to contact the engineers to see if there is an A4 firmware available. The A2/A3 firmware will not work since A4 got a board/memory change and the firmware is not compatible.

I would still call tech support to get it into the system.

Developers responded back. They are working on a new firmware for A4 and it will be out in about a month. Hopefully it will be sooner since customers are asking for it.

I see v3.11 B101H WW/RU supports Rev A4:

Sorry KFritz for not coming back to this. The 3.11 B101H was released. There are 2 firmware files in the ZIP file. For A4, only use the file labeled COMMON.
