posted here as the 2670 is the outdoor version of the 2630. can you tell us when it will be ava in the us? this is what i need.

3) if not 2), and I obtain one from Canada, can I still add to my US MyDlink.com account so as to have all cams in one place for viewing?

thanks, there's the 2330 made for outdoor use but IMO its inferior to the 2670. The 2670 has the features all of us need. I don't understand why they don't want to capture market share for outdoor solutions because clearly there is a gap in what is available and features/price point.

I agree. I wish there were more "consumer" outdoor cameras. I know the majority of "business" cameras are for outdoor but much more money. Gotta pay for the weatherproofing and better quality.  I know D-Link is working on getting a replacement for the 2330L in the US. I am not sure when though.

I am still waiting to hear back regarding buying cameras from Canada can be used in the US with US mydlink accounts.

update: just recalled something. in the past, ppl from abroad have posted here about buying a cam in the us and using it abroad. the answer was the cam can be used abroad but would call into the US (or N. American) based cloud. Indeed, I've bought one for a collegue from abroad and that is how it worked. They log into the US Dlink site. The question is can a canadian cam co exist with us cams on a single us dlink account. or is the us account really a n. american account? if so, then maybe the question is moot? anyway, look forward to hear what they say.

I bought several 2210ls from eBay,  seller was in Florida.  The packaging was Portuguese.  Could've been Brazil.  It worked with my us dlink account.
I'm not sure if dlink sells non American packaging in usa officially or how this person sourced them.

Yes, that's kind of what I'm saying.

I'm also saying I'm not sure if these 2210L's were meant for Brazil or Portugal, or meant to be sold in Florida.

But they are all registered with my US mydlink account with all my USA bought cams.  The F/W is in USA.  I don't remember how I upgraded the f/w or if I did.  I'll try to find a box.

I'm from Canada and all our cameras get setup at https://us.mydlink.com.  AFAIK US and Canada users use the same site.  Just ordered a 2670l from Best Buy locally.
