Scanning from HPL7789 to DNS-323
« on: July 23, 2009, 09:55:54 AM »

I’ve recently purchase a DNS-323 and DIR-655 router. Both seem to be working fine, except I am not able to scan documents from my HPL7780 all in one printer to a folder on the DNS-323.

To scan you provide the HPL7780 with a shared folder’s network path, user name, and password.  When I try to scan my HPL7780 replies back with the following error: Disk may be full or folder is write protected.  Neither of which I believe is correct.

I’ve used both a user name and password, and the admin name and password, neither allow me scan documents to the DNS-323.  I can also access the scan folder from other network computers.

The HPL7780 scanning works fine sending files to other computers: on a desktop running Windows 7 and a laptop running Windows Vista.

The DNS-323 is running firmware 1.07.

Any suggestions as to how to provide access from my HPL7780 to the DNS-323?
