Hey guys, i actually posted this question up but it was in some other forums but...

I was wondering if you can give all of us "dir-655 users" a status update on the new firmware, if there is one?

are you guys trying to make a new firmware to fix the shareport, DNS, etc?

like what is the status, is the new firmware still in progress?
Has the new firmware been started yet?

Any information will be great to all of us who uses the dir-655 because the 1.32 firmware still has problems (from reading the other forums)

mainly the dns and the shareport. those are the two that ive seen in common.
(any other problems, post it here so the tech can be informed)


I think everyone will be thankful if you give us an update.

They don't usually give updates of works in progress, most companies don't.  When they have one that is ready to be beta'd we are usually informed right away.

actually when there are major bugs companies do give expected ETA.

Though from what I've seen these bugs are a pain but not major.

I second that. I'm running hassle free in different configurations. The issues may strike some users as 'major' (every issue they have is always 'major' ofcourse  ;D ).

ah icic... and well yeah same here i have no problems with mine. All i want is just to use the DNS and the shareport, but other then that, i have no problems. and im running the A3 version ^_^

and that sucks that theres no notification. but its ok. i guess i have to wait until beta comes.
