Can't Connect To My Samsung BluRay DVD
« on: August 06, 2009, 02:14:45 AM »

Something is keeping my DIR-655 from connecting with my new Samsung P-3600 BluRay DVD player, which is equipped with a wireless LAN adapter.  The player sees and displays the wireless network SSID and the signal strength is three bars, but all attempts to connect to the network fail.  I'm using WPA2PSK encryption and I've entered the correct password.  No connection.  I removed all encryption but still no connection.  I tried using WPS and entered the player's PIN but it would not connect.   I tried the PBC method of connecting, but nothing connected.  I've had this same problem trying to connect my daughters' two wireless laptops -- they see the SSID but don't connect.  Something in the router's setup is screening out these devices.  I'll appreciate any suggestions on what to try next.

Set to:

AUTO WPA/WPA2

and for the chiper type... set to:

TKIP and AES

make sure both are on... cause sometimes it only takes AES.. sometimes it only takes TKIP.. and same with wpa/wpa2...

if not then try WEP..
