DIR-655 with DAP-1555: 300 Mbps connection?

Hi,

I'm running a DIR-655 wireless router by my cable modem, and I'm running a DAP-1555 mediabridge on the other side of the house to connect my home theater equipment to my network.

I read the sticky post entitled "300 Mbps connection requirements!  Please read!" at the top of this forum and I'm intrigued.  I would like to optimize my configuration for performance, and so to that end I have a few questions:

1) Can the DIR-655 achieve a 300 Mbps connection with the DAP-1555?

2) How do I determine the bit rate at which the DAP-1555 is connected to the DIR-655?
