DNS-323 iTunes Server and Artwork
« on: December 04, 2007, 01:17:57 PM »

Hello Again,

Does anyone know how the iTunes Server handles Album Artwork.  Some of my artwork shows in the "show album groups with artwork" view and some don't.

I know in regular iTunes there is a directory that has all iTunes Store Art and a dir for downloaded.  I assume its linked somehow.

How is this handled with DNS 323???

The artwork should show up if it is embedded into the mp3. It does not store seperate artwork like itunes/wmp11.

When I go into iTunes and sync up with the iTunes server, I cannot go into album cover view nor can I go in and edit out the MP3 tags. They are all grayed out. To edit out the ID3 tag I would have to do that from the library mode. Am I doing something wrong? I love the iTunes server but wish my artwork would follow too.
