Hi Folks , been going round in circles on this one ... Firstly the firmware has been upgraded to the latest 16 so no issues there, I am connected and can link to the internet so again no issues there ... the problem is the ddns ... I set up the free ddns with Ddlink , which has been verified by dlink by email . I the enter those details into the router section, ensuring the tick box is completed and then enter the details set up through dyn ... now when I go to to DDNS testing button it says ... testing then disconnect ? ... I have checked all the obvious things and even changed the password just in case , and even tried all the drop downs even though the name ends in dlinkddns.com just in case ... but still get the same results .... any ideas appreciated ... The other issue is that although I can see my slingboxes .... I cant see my DVR remotely ?...again any suggestions and support appreciated kind regards

What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
What region are you located?
Was a Factory Reset performed before and after any firmware updates then set up from scratch?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
