I have a DNR-322L Rev. B with 6 cameras which replaced an A version. It has the latest firmware v3.01.04. It was easy to set up and works very well except for an issue accessing the playback data.
On an iPhone or iPad I can access all the playback data over all 24 hours and every day. The same is true using a Windows 10 PC via Internet Explorer. No problem, all the data is there, visible and can be accessed.
HOWEVER, I use Macs, both fixed and portable. When I access the DNR-322L with a Mac either via the D-Link portal or directly using the IP address, I can only see the first 7 or 8 hours recording on most days. It is usually from midnight to around 07:00 or 08:00 but it varies. On some days, about every three weeks I can suddenly see all, or nearly all the data for one day. Then it reverts to the first 7 or 8 hours again.
I am using all versions of the OS (El Capitan, Sierra and High Sierra) and of Safari (11.0.1), and have also tried it with a pre 52 version of Firefox. I have tried Macs with different languages (French and English) for the OS and the browsers but it makes no difference. I have tried every configuration I can think of but they are all exactly the same. I cannot see the data for more than the first 7 or 8 hours each day.
I logged my problem with the D-Link Self Service Portal on the 14th of June 2017 and to begin with they reacted to say that it was a known problem with non English language software. Then they said that the problem had been solved with the update to Safari 11. I sent them screen shots to show that the problem remained and they replied with a screen shot showing the full 24 hours recording. Since then they do not reply to my messages.
Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, have they found the cause?
I have come to the conclusion that it must be a firmware problem and that all Mac users must be experiencing the same problem.
I would really appreciate some help.
