dhcp/dns not forwarded
« on: April 30, 2019, 03:59:04 AM »

Computers attached to switch dgs-1210/52 revB don't get ip from our dhcp-server, when we give a fixed ip on the computers, we can ping gateway and dhcp server and back ping (gateway and dhcp-server sits on different ports). All special features are disabled in webgui. When we restart the switch the problem seems solved but when whe ipconfig /dnsflush and /release on the computer, we don't get ip automatically from dhcp but the 169.254.xxx.xxx. Any suggestions for troubleshooting? Self diagnostics on the switch? Are there hidden cli features u can't reset with the gui?

Has a factory reset been performed then setup from scratch using default settings?
Test network and IP addressing with a different switch to be sure services and PCs are getting addressing correctly...
