DSL-3785 - TCP or UDP not both!?
« on: May 30, 2019, 03:18:06 AM »

Recently picked up a DSL-3785 its running firmware AU_1.03 which is the latest and HW Revision is B1, I'm having issues with Application/Port Forwarding, if you check the manual online (http://files.dlink.com.au/products/DSL-3785/Manuals/DSL-3785_B1_Manual_v1.00(DI).pdf) Page #49 it states I can do "TCP, UDP, or All Protocol" on the Protocol Type but I don't appear to have that option, I can only do TCP or UDP (https://i.imgur.com/QWHNpDe.png)

I've tried a factory reset, I've tried different browsers, nothing seems to make this option appear, I've even gone through Telnet and the help commands only states setting UDP or TCP mind you this is only on Port Forwarding I can't seem to find the Applications list but it shouldn't matter since that manual states you can do Both for Port Forwarding as well.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this.
Link> Tech Support Contact Information
We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.

The manual may be based on an older firmware. The 1.03 firmware may have removed the all option which is very odd. Unfortunately you will have to create 2 rules if you need both UDP and TCP. Definitely contact tech support and they can let the engineers know to fix it.

Trying to create 2 rules just results in "This Trigger Port already exists"
