Twonky Media Server problem

I really love this add-on. However... Why do I have to login to Twonky each time after a power failure, restart or anything like that? Also, if there's no Internet, I am unable to login and therefore can't watch any movies off my NAS.
This is very poor design and annoying.

How to resolve this?
