I've been using WiFi backhaul as I need this network to be stable. When I was trying to use ethernet backhaul I was plugging Dlink A node port 1 to the modem, port 2 to TP-Link DES-1005A switch and the other 2 B points to the switch outputs. However the B nodes turn orange and drop signal frecuently....Reading previous messages do you thing that my switch hasn't same behavior as DGS-105 or DGS-1005? thanks in advance for your comments...

What FW Version is currently loaded?

Is the DES switch a D-Link or TP-Link.
Regardless, the DES switch is only a 100Mpbs connection rated speed switch. I would replace the DES with a D-Link DGS series switch, i.e. DGS-105/108 which DGS is are rated at 1000Mpbs.

FW is latest version 1.08 and sorry for mistake on Brand, the switch is DLink (not TP Link) DES-1005A, I was trying to get DGS-105/108, but can get DGS-1008A, do you think this will work?

Great!!, I installed DGS-1008A and the fixed the problem.
Now I have a problems to reach other rooms and want to add extra COVR´s after the COVR POINT B using LAN ETHERNET cable, is it possible to put 2 COVR´s in Series?

Not sure if the COVR can be daisy chained like that...something to try out.

so long as your L2 switch doesn't drop any of the IEEE 1905.1 `0xa20e` or proprietary D-Link topology packets (`0x1ee3`), it SHOULD work; (by spec even, the topology stuff is layer 2.5, it is supposed to work on top of any layer2 switch).  So if you find a switch is dropping these packets, you should report that to the manufacturer and complain.

However you have a 1210 COVR system vs the 1203 system, which maybe different and the 1203 has more recent version of FW as well which differs from the 1210 series.

I have not seen any issues with my 1203 system with the B points connected wired or wireless on my network.
