Hi,

I just regged to this forum because i cannot find any solution for my problem. Well long story short my computer that is connected to the first lan port (lan1) loses connection and when trying to access 192.168.0.1 (the standard one that I am using for the router) times out and i cannot reach the interface. Then I tried to connect to the router by my laptop that is using the WIFI connection and I am able to reach it. Then i need to restart the router and repair the connection on my computer that is on the lan1 and boom internet is back.

I also tried to release the connection on the first page when it froze but the router don't do anything only displaying please whait and it will do so for hours. So only way is to tools system and then restart the device like i described earlyer.

This has happend several times and i cannot find any solution. Im using the EU version 1.21.5 i think its named. Tried to reflash it, reboot it, reset to standard and then set it again.

This is how it looks.

Ethernet (30/30Mbit/s Full Duplex) ----> Router Dirr 655 ----> Computer 1 (lan1) and then 2 Laptops on WIFI G and an Epson PX700.

The longest uptime i had with this router is about 40 days I think but I am not 100% sure. But this time the last reboot was 26 august and thats only 3 days!

Hi,

I guess it goes without asking but have you tried using the other LAN ports to see if maybe your router simply has a bad port ?

If so...any differences ?

Hm, that thought haven't come to my head. Will try it and see if that helps.
