Adding DIR-615 to Internal Network
« on: September 01, 2009, 11:15:42 PM »

Hello,

I am working at a small organization that has 3 AP's, 2 sit outside of the internal network and one (DIR-615) inside the internal network. The GUI for this D-Link's Web Management Interface is quite complex and I needed some help setting up the address for this router. We recently had to reset and so lost all of the settings.

I need to set this router with a 10.10.10.X/255.255.255.0 address so that it is inside the internal network, right now it is on the default 192 range. I went to Setup > Network Settings and set the above as the router IP and Subnet Mask but it didn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

If this helps any, we have 2 static IP addresses, one for the internal network and the other for outside users. Would like to have this router set up so that if I were to be inside the network and typed in http://10.10.10.X then would end up at the D-Link login page. All the cabling is correct as this was working, but when we reset all the setting were lost.

If anyone has some insight or guidance that they would be willing to share, this would be very, very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
