Are Automatic Pet Water Fountains Worth It?

Hey everyone,

I’m considering getting one for my pets (a dog and a cat) but wanted to hear from those who have used them. Do they encourage pets to drink more water? I’ve been looking into an automatic pet water fountain, but I’m unsure which brands or models are best.

I’m also curious about maintenance—how often do they need cleaning, and are replacement filters expensive? I want something reliable and easy to maintain. Any pros and cons would be helpful before I decide!
