Renaming Network
« on: September 02, 2009, 04:27:05 PM »

I want to rename my network and change the key. Do I have to have the router physically connected to my computer? My WI-Fi printer will not connect, but does see my network.(excellent signal). My computer, laptop, and i-touch connect no problem. I had no problems connecting with my old router.

Thanks

You can do this while connected via Wifi to our router.
But as soon as you are saving the new settings for the Wifi in the router (SSID and Password) you wil be disconnected and have manually to re-connect to your router. To the new SSID wit the new password.

To make it easier, I recommend to do those changes while connected via a normal network cable to your router.
