Need help setting up computers on my router...
« on: September 04, 2009, 11:28:49 AM »

I have a DIR-625 and I am trying to set up my two room mates computers.  They can see the name of the network on their computers, but when they type in the password they are told the password is invalid.  The password is not invalid as I can log into my "D-Link Product Page" with no problem.

I have even removed the password and when they try to log on, it says the password they are entering is invalid.

Does this have something to do with WPA and pre-shared keys?  I never entered a key, it is simply there.  A bunch of asterisks typed into the box but I have no idea what it is.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You must enter a WPA / WPA2 key.  The asterisks are just there and there is never any key entered by default.

Also, the "logon" password is not used to connect the PCs to the wireless network.
