BT not starting DL

I am having trouble setting up my DNS-323 (Firmware V1.06) to use Bittorrent, I have one Seagate 320G drive mounted in Slot 2 (as per manual). I don't seem to be having any other problems with the unit but I just cannot seem to get it to work, it accepts a downloaded torrent file but won't do anything after I click on the start button.
I have a DIR-825 with port forwarding turned on for bittorrent (ports 6881-6889).
I have a feeling I'm missing something simple, any help would be appreciated.

Make sure you have the proper DNS address settings in the LAN settings of the DNS-323.
