Here is a setup we have a client running on:
5 Phone kit, single gateway with 2 pots lines, updated to latest firmware on everything and SP2 on baseunit. 4 Phones on LAN of base unit, 1 Phone at second location across town, VPN routers at each location.
2 sites VPN'd together.
Phone registered with base over VPN. Made calls from sip user to sip user over VPN and worked. made calls from remote VPN'd phone to an external 10 digit and 7 digit number and worked.
Left over the weekend. came back and now the remote sip phone will register with base unit, make local/ sip to sip user calls just fine. When you try to make an external call (dialing 9 then the number, to my cellphone for example) it will pickup a line on the gateway(changes from idle to talk) rings at destination (my cell) but not at the RP phone, Then when destination call picks up, there is no audio between the 2, just nothing. no ringing, not anything. hang up on either end and it immediately disconnects the call like normal.
I've rebooted the gateway individually. no luck. i re-booted the base unit and gateway at the same time with no luck. i've disabled VPN and re-enabled VPN on the baseunit, then re-booted again and still no luck. After each re-boot i can get the remote phone to register over the VPN and make internal sip calls but same result on external POTS calls, and all phones on the LAN of the baseunit can make sip and pots calls with no problems.
I'm going to drive onsite again, take the remote phone, take it back to the main location , register it locally then test.
Any help would be appreciated.
