I had the same issue this evening.  (Cannon i4300)  Has been working for a week, then this evening I could not print.  Tried several applications and test page button in the printer property dialog. I tried clearing the print queue.  I rebooted both the PCs and the DNS-323.  Tried the USB connections at both ends.  After clearing the print queue a second time, I successfully printed a test page, my daughter's homework and a few pictures.

I guess you may have tried clearing the queue more than once, but it worked for me.

The only thing I could think of next was rebooting the router.

My printing lasted one more day after my last post -- then I couldn't get anything to print.  I searched the internet for more information and found some posts from old firmware versions.  They mention an issue if the printer is off when the print job is sent and suggest deleting a hidden ".lpd" directory (they didn't have a button on the web interface at the time).

We usually left our printer off, when it was attached to a PC, and it would wake up on USB activity so we had left it shut off when connected to the DNS.  I'm wondering if the DNS still struggles with waking up printers.

I could not find a hidden .lpd folder but in looking I noticed the DNS-323/Printer & Fax/lp item showed one job in the queue even though I had cleared it several times.  I tried reinstalling the print driver on the PCs, cleared the queue, then refreshed the "lp" folder and it changed to zero.  Printing started working.  (Will start turning the printer on first if I have to reinstall the drivers again.)

The printer seems to be paused all the time. If I tries to un-pause it it gives me an 0x00000005 error.
