A suggestion on fixing 1.32NA firmware - Lycan accepting data? :)
« on: September 14, 2009, 12:48:32 PM »

Hi,

Like a lot of people here I know I have a good router, the firware ios broke somehow, DLink can't recreate the problem, so what about we send the config files and logs for them to look at?

Rather than bombarding them I was rather hoping the helpful Lycan could suggest a way we do this. When it worked well it was easily the best router I have ever had, for many reasons, and I really want it working again (plus to have my faith i DLink restored)

Lycan, is there a way we can send this data that you guys can have a look at? I would bet my bottom dollar that the cfg files will be the clue that might solve this.

I often wondered whether DLINK could post a configuration file/s from the flawless routers in their lab that could be downloaded for users to install on problem routers. Could this help in identifying whether the problem was configuration or environment? How would shareport behave?
