What is the difference between the DGL-4500 A1 & A2?
Is there a B1 version in the works?

Is the heat sink on the cpu the only difference?

Your telling me that D-Link magically transformed a HW ver A1 into an A2 simply by replacing FW 1.02 with 1.12? No other changes in the hardware took place? If this is true, I would consider this practice to be deceitful at best.

What was the issue with FW v1.14? I just saw a new DGL-4500 A2 with HW v1.14.

I don't recall that fw version and its not on their ftp site.

Because it wasn't a released FW version.  It was a shipping FW on the A2 before 1.12 was out for A1.  It only fixed an OLED problem.

I also saw a new A2 with an earlier serial number with FW 1.12. This would indicate that 1.14 came out after 1.12.

The heatsink is the only major HW difference.
