There's an A5? I on saw an B1 posted recently. And yes this one has better processor more RAM and better range overall around 6dBm higher radio power. IOW from cisco rule of thumb it would have twice the range of the A4 https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/forms/blobs/retrieve.cgi?attachment_id=1165949&native_or_pdf=pdf

Is the A5 out? I will look for that then! Can anyone verify the A5 is available?

That's weird. If my eyes do not deceive me I see the "B1" here use the Ubicom IP7150 https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/forms/blobs/retrieve.cgi?attachment_id=1165943&native_or_pdf=pdf and not the Ubicom IP5160U according to http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=30726&Itemid=96 . Anyway who knows, no one has seen a B1 in store yet, right?

I've just had my router replaced a few days ago with a DIR-655 A4, it says on the box: DIR655/B1

I want to upgrade to that one. :D I seem to have got my router stable at least for now. Having the extra speed/range boost would be very nice.

Do D-Link even check routers before they are shipped out?

Just had a replacement few days ago and it now constantly reboots on the 1.21 firmware. Its been a used one that's obviously been repaired as it has scratches all over it..

I now have to send them back another one AGAIN bloody annoying!  >:(

Try disabling NTP client after the settings reset. I got the same thing when I set my NTP server to a global one. The DLink one works fine, same for my university faculty server which I manage.

I'm just curious, does the A5 exist in the U.S.?
