TTS sound issues.
« on: September 29, 2009, 01:22:52 PM »

We are having issues with the Text to Speech portion of our Response Point system. Audio quality is good on everything except the tts. When the system says anything it is very robotic like and usually impossible to understand. Any solutions?

Is the problem system-wide? Did you install the TTS along with SP2?

I have installed all updates and the TTS with SP2 and all devices have the latest firmware. We have a total of 20 phones DPH-125MS's 28 users and two DVG-3104MS gateways. All devices have static IP's. It does not happen with all phones. I thought it might be bandwidth related but voice is fine.

UPDATE - I did some testing and it only does this on names. If we transfer a call to say Tom Smith, the system says "Tom Smith" "Call Transferred, you can now hang up". The only portion that has problems is the name.

We are having the exact same issue. Is there any resolution for this? I have called D-link phone support and they are unable to help.

Should we just reinstall factory settings? If so, how?

It sounds horrible.
