Is there any way I can be emailed whenever this beta comes out?  I'd be MORE than happy to help test.  I'm on a not-so-reliable wireless internet connection, and troubleshooting this issue has been a major pain, but my ISP is reporting that I haven't dropped connection in about 2 months (since my last power outage).

I'll try it out.  Resetting once a day at this point, can't get worse without it dying altogether.

Ru-Fi-Oh sent me the Firmware, so I will start my normal battery round of testing on it.  Normally, with how it is at default, and with the simple stuff changed such as DNS servers, and wireless SSID.  Will definitely report back here.

I would also love to have the new firmware beta, i'm kinda tired of using my lagging airport router...i want my fast router(dlg4500) back up and running  , i'd be happy to report back if it works out as a tester

Yep that is true but soon enough everyone will have it. Hopefully its released on the weekend or something.

I have a Dir-855 and I know this is the forum for the dgl-4500, but I did not see a post for this beta firmware for the dir-855  Since these two routers have similar components will there be a beta firmware for the dir-855 as well? I really hope so, because I have the same problems as everybody else! Could you please inform us as to the release info for the dir-855? Thanks!

Well just wait tell the beta firmware is released on the forum. Once they do that I'm sure they will release something for the DIR-855 in time.
