Ok . . . So if I understand it correctly:
24/7 Economic Recording is set off by the camera detecting motion, and D-viewcam will continue recording until stopped (manually or as per schedule). Whereas the function "Event Recording for Motion Detection" is triggered by motion, records short videos (clips), and is handled by D-Viewcam.
So setting up my DCS-920 for 24/7 Economic Recording *AND* having the camera configured for "Event Recording for Motion Detection" would be redundant and a duplication. In other words, when viewed, 24/7 Economic Recording tells the "whole story" while Event Recording for Motion Detection only gives "glimpses of that story". Correct?
