Does wireless light always blink?
« on: October 18, 2009, 01:44:45 AM »

I just hooked up my new DIR-615 router. Running ok at the moment... it is Hardware Revision C1 and I received it with 3.10NA firmware but just upgraded it to 3.11NA.

However, my wireless light blinks constantly like once every second, even if I do not have any wireless clients connected. Edit: However, it does seem to blink faster when there is significant wireless data activity.

Is this normal?

It seems to be working fine otherwise tho, I just wanted to confirm this thing isnt defective or something.

if you are talking about the triangle inside a circle light, that's normal. As well as the wireless looking logo on the front.
