I have a bunch of media files on a Lacie 1 TB drive connected via USB to the 750. I seem to be having issues with the xvid encoded files only, where when I am playing back through the USB, the video is jittery...
Same files streamed after being copied to the PC's local hard drive through either MCE or WMP play fine... I connected the USB drive to the PC and stream through both MCE and WMP while the file is still on the Lacie drive also play fine...
It just seems to be an issue when the file is played when connected to local USB... And only for Xvid encoded files, all others do not have issue... The audio is fine in all cases...
Other thing sometimes with the Xvid files is when they are being played back from USB, I get that round waiting/processing "circle" against the black background as is the case when most files begin playback, and sometimes, the audio track starts playing, but the video never shows up... the only thing on the screen is that round "waiting" wheel... I left it alone a few times but after 10 minutes or so, the actual audio track seems to be playing fine but the video never shows up... at this point, the only button that seems to work on the remote is the power button... as in, pressing stop on the remote at this point does nothing, the audio continues to play... if the 750 is powered off and back, the same file video shows up as expected... albeit jittery...
Any idea's appreciated?
