Configuration Backup/Resore D-Link DIR-615

Hello,

We use a D-Link DIR-655 as an public Wi-Fi Network for external users to connect to. The issue with this is that we have about 50-80 different users connecting to this network and my concern is that if for some reason if we needed to reset the router and lost all changes then not sure if reloading one of the backup configurations would work in the sense that some computer might still be reuired to enter the WEP key. Their computers automatically connect to the network based on the SSID, we have inserted the key for them. Not sure if the serial ID on the router will be changed even when you restore a previous config backup and if so, would this affect the clients from connecting without any reconfiguration.

Any help or advise would be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance...
