Port Forwarding information isn't saved
« on: October 27, 2009, 03:00:41 PM »

Apologies if this has been asked before, I searched and didn't find it.

I use port forwarding for torrents and PC Gaming (usually relating to Steam or what have you).  On the D-Link firmware, it's the Advanced tab -> Port Forwarding on the left menu.

The first three sets are Utorrent, XBox Live, and Steam with mostly correct information filled out.  Those always stay, no matter what I do.  Reboot the router, power cycle it, whatever.  However, I have to manually change the IP addresses.  They always stay what they were first entered as (.199 on the computer, .137 on the 360, neither of which are the current static IPs), so I have to change those to the right IPs everytime the router reboots.  A mild inconvenience, but not a huge deal.

What is a huge deal is every time I try to add something new - in this instance, about four new sets of ports open for the game Borderlands - it will erase if I reboot the router.  Now, keep in mind, rebooting means hitting Save Settings and being asked if I want to reboot (which I've recently been just saying Reboot Later) or power cycling.

This is now a huge annoyance and would like some help.
