DIR-825 Wireless connect OK - wired: only some sites work

I had my 825 working just fine. Then I was fiddling with the configuration to try to replace the cable that runs from the DIR-825 to my DSL modem/router with a wireless gaming adapter (don't ask - I really did have a reason :)

Now, my wife's notebook connects and runs just fine on 802.11n.

My RJ-45 connected PC can only access some websites.

It seems the problem is on the upload side. For example - I can click around the dlink forum no problem but when I first tried to post this message it just didn't work (had to direct connect to my modem to do it). Yahoo! won't load. Speedtests work great for downloads but uploads just don't work.

I used to have this problem and fixed it by reducing MTU but that doesn't help. I suppose I could return the router to factory defaults but I'm open to suggestions before doing that.

Nobody replied so I reset the router to factory defaults and reprogrammed all the settings. It's working fine now.

I guess I'll never find out the cause of the problem. Oh well...
