Windows 7 Driver Compatibility?
« on: October 30, 2009, 02:27:56 PM »

I recently bought an upgrade to Windows 7 and ran the compatibility adviser, but it marked my D-Link DWA-130 (rev. C) hardware/driver as a possible incompatibly issue. I just wanted to check here: does the DWA-130 work for anyone using Windows 7 here? If so, using which driver? (And is D-Link releasing one for Windows 7?)

I've been able to find vague reports of the adapter failing every couple minutes, but haven't found solid verification or testing with the different drivers available. It's honestly the only thing keeping me from upgrading to Windows 7, because I don't want to go out and buy a new one.

I'm running Windows 7, and just bought a DWA-130 on sale...   I'll be returning it tomorrow...  Doesn't work with Windows 7...  Tried pretty much every driver on the site...  If you find one to get it working please post!!

mrvw24c.sys found in sys32 directory seems to work. Diable allowing computer to turn device off. Do not install dlink drivers nor dlink software.

Alright, I'll give that a try, though I don't want to upgrade int eh first place without confirmation that it'll work...

Not a big hardware person...how do I disable allowing computer to turn device off and where do I go about using that driver? Just the usual hardware list?
