Speed issue with DIR-655
« on: November 01, 2009, 02:44:01 PM »

Hi, I have a DIR-655 Rev A3, fw 1.21. I have 100mbit internet, but with the router i just get around 60mbit, without it i have 104mbit. :(

Any suggestions of settings I may have missed ?
Anyone else have a 655 on 100mbit-line and can confirm it fix it? As i have read on smallnetworkbuilder.com it has a wan->lan throughput of 2xx mbit, so it might be a problem fixing 100mbit :)

Hi yabbah,

I have the exact same Router connected to a Surfboard SB-5100 Cable Modem. Are you wired or wireless to the Router?

Where are you getting the information from? 60mbit? 104 mbit?

Hi,

What do you have your LAN port set at ?  AUTO or something specific ?

Do you mean your internet speed is 100 Mbps as provided from your ISP or that you have 100 Mbps speed from your ISP modem to your DIR-655 ?

@thecreator: I check my internetspeed at www.bredbandskollen.se. I always test wired.

@sammydad1: I think my ports set to auto 10/100/1000. And I have 100mbit from my internet provider. From the modem to the dir-655 its gigabitlink.
